UN75: #UnitedForHope Dialogues

The world’s biggest conversation on the future we want – designed for young people, by young people

Young people are critical to the Sustainable Development Goals. They are the real custodians of the future.

This generation — the game-changing generation, the climate action generation, the innovation generation, the generation of equality — holds the answers for a better tomorrow.

The UN is ready for change – a change guided by the aspirations and concerns of young people. On our 75th year anniversary, we want young people to be the face of that change, for them to share their ambitious visions and innovative actions to shape the future they want, and the future they need.

About #UnitedForHope

As part of the global UN75 initiative, the United Nations in India in partnership with YuWaah and Youth Ki Awaaz launched the #UnitedForHope dialogue series – a platform for India’s young people to talk about issues that matter to them and share their ideas on what the UN of the 21st century should and must focus on.

With the spirit of “We the Peoples” sitting at the heart of our campaign, the themes for each of our dialogues have been chosen by the young people, for the young people of India. From spirited conversations on the climate crisis to the future of work, our dialogues have garnered over 45 million impressions across our corporate digital accounts. The campaign has also helped boost our reach of the UN75 survey in India, with over 150,000 people signing up and lending their voice on the Future We Want.
