The UN in the era of Trump

The election of Donald Trump as the next United States President has created significant unease in the United Nations. While much remains unclear and difficult to predict, the views of Mr Trump and his advisers, combined with Republican majorities in both chambers of Congress for at least the next two years, indicate that the UN is headed toward a new and potentially challenging relationship with the US.
