World Health Organisation flies in medical supplies as part of its COVID surge response in India. Nearly 1.2 million medical respirator masks (KN95) have been flown into India. Along with it, 4000 WHO-supported oxygen concentrators have begun arriving in Delhi. These are being rushed to states to fill critical gaps in essential medical supplies.
WHO is also procuring laboratory supplies, including 1.2 million reagents and mobile field hospitals with a capacity of 20-30 beds each to support the #COVID19 response in #India.
