India remains one of the largest contributors to health sector in the UN system in 2016

India supplied goods and services worth $803.79 million to the health sector in the UN system. India, a top-ten supplier country since 2000, supplied about six percent of the procurements made by UN organisations in 2016, the second highest after the US. Goods and services from India were mainly procured by UNICEF, UNDP and WFP.
